London, UK, and Boston, USA, 1st April 2021 – A3 Communications, the PR specialists for data storage and protection vendors and the company behind the fast-growing demo day event Technology Live!, today unveiled its latest initiative, the A3 Academy. This educational enterprise will develop the next generation of PR professionals, a group of communications specialists highly focussed on and very knowledgeable about the data storage, data protection and related industries. The #A3Academy will open its doors today and will welcome trainees between the ages of six months and 12 years, the ages when the human brain builds the foundations required to communicate and learn, according to research commissioned by A3 Communications and carried out by a team of experts over the past 24 months among babies and children across Europe and the USA.
“The data storage industry has seen so much change over the past 30, 40 and 50 years, and today it is much harder than it was even just ten years ago for vendors to differentiate themselves. A strong PR team can help them position their brands and create awareness, but only if these professionals have a clear and deep understanding of the industry,” said Federica Monsone, founder and principal of A3 Communications, the data storage industry PR agency. “We spent nearly three years developing the A3 Academy, and today marks the birth of the first generation of ‘native’ data storage PR professionals. I am very excited to see how our first cohort of trainees will fare by the end of the course.”
The A3 Academy will leverage the students’ age-related, inner creativity to allow them to create unusual campaigns that, once refined by the senior team at A3 Communications, will allow the agency’s clients to reach their audiences with never-seen-before initiatives.
At ten years’ old, Emma, one of the older inaugural trainees taking part in the A3 Academy, said “When I grow up I want to be an IT manager because I like computers and technology. I knew how to use my dad’s phone when I was just four.”
The A3 Academy is now taking applications from candidates wishing to enter the 2022 year.
